So Lord Mandelson got first class treatment for his kideny stones, no long wait in dirt in A & E
Fantastic
Bet he didnt recover in a ward 2 feet either side from other patients screaming in agony
Shame the NHS can only do it for ministers

Great point...but didn;t you forget the part about 'in a ward 70% full of scary heroin addicts'? (As most large hospital med wards are.)
Hi
I echo Deb's words.
Found your coment over at Deb's.
Calum
When my father, who was in his eighties, was in severe pain, the NHS ambulance service refused to send an ambulance out to him. The so called 'emergency' doctor attended over 8 hours later and gave him an injection and diagnosed a kidney stone. His usual GP wouldn't come out. My father died ten days later. When I hear things like this about government ministers getting what is obviously preferential treatment I get very angry. The NHS is not a service for patients, it is just serving a system. I don't think your language is at all offensive NotDrRant, its entirely appropriate. They're all bastards. We don't all have Lord Darzi to take us into hospital though.
